If you were married to a man that was gone alot. For instance a NSACAR driver, professional trucker, pilot? I am sure mine would, heck, the paycheck they bring home would take away the lonliness!

That's hard to anticipate...
Being around each other constantly can drain a marriage, too, but being away for days puts stress on the trust involved.
For my part, temptation and cheating have never been attractive, have never caused me to betray a husband/boyfriend.
If I felt convinced of my husband's fidelity, I'd be ok with it. Having been in a confining, claustrophobic, controlling relationship, time away from a partner, for me, is healthy.

It might. When couples have time apart, it gives them the chance to miss each other and appreciate each other.

Some marriages survive because of the time apart they get.

But if there were small children in the home, it would certainly be harder as the one parent who is home all the time would get the constant burden, so that would make it hard in the marriage.

My husband is gone every week and home on the weekend and mine does survive. I have a wonderful husband who I adore. It's almost like when you are dating. You get all excited because you know that you are going to get to spend time together. I get that butterfly and anticipation feeling every week. How lucky am I?

It would be difficult but if we both love each other enough...we would do everything in our power to keep the marriage strong. It all depends if the relationship is worth saving.
