I have to admit I think liberals ARE smarter than conservatives, at least on average. My bad. I guess because I meet liberals around universities, and I meet conservatives in sports bars, it's an "associative reasoning" thing. Even so, many stereotypes begin from common sense observations...

I tend to believe that most liberals have successfully formed good political networks throughout the democratic party, media, acadamia, and other institutions. This has created a back-slapping attitude in their thinking. Each one believes that since I believe as this otther guy does then we both can't be wrong type of attitude.

Well, this happens to be a common trait of many liberals. Uniformed liberalism is a rampant disease that is unfortunately spreading all throughout the United States. I find that debates with them can be tiring and not at all satisfying because really you cant correct their ignorance. To be fair, uniformed conservatism seems to be a growing issue too, but is far more rare.

Well if it matters the ego of one conservative. We let them think they're right, until they screw up royally, and we come around to fix their mistakes. That's why we're smarter than them.

Both sides frequently tend to be uninformed in debates.

Liberals think they are smarter because they feel that being open to different opinions is smart.

Conservatives think they are smarter because they feel its obvious that we should go with what has worked before rather than trying to change thing.

Difference of opinion and people on each side call the other stupid for disagreeing.

Do you actually pause for reply or go at it Fox News style?
You know, constant uniterrupted speech tirades that give no chance for input.
Or do you just feel that their answer differing in your views are not intelligent?
Either way~ big o load of poo.

It starts with your inferior syntax, inability to spell, and lack of correct punctuation and capitalization. From there, it's all downhill for your side.
