I am a dichotomy.....A career in the public eye, which I thoroughly enjoyed, gave me the outlet I needed to feed my inner social butterfly....but I love retreating into myself to spend time alone, writing, reading, drawing...so, I am both depending on mood. Can you tell I'm a Gemini? lol

Probably loner. I have friends and I love t socialize with them, but I hate clubs and bars and would much rather be at home reading a good book, than out partying on a Friday night. I enjoy my alone time; I like working out alone, and even shopping alone (most of the time). I enjoy my time with my friends (we're foodies and like to go to different restaurants and try new recipes), and I love a good lively debate or discussion, but I'm always happy to be alone afterwards. So I would put myself in the "loner" category-but only because there was nothing in between loner and social butterfly in your question.

I am a loner with a social personality. I am not a total void. I like people and being around them when the mood/need arises. But for the most part, my social circles involves 2 people.

I am a loner, but people just come up to me and start talking. Of course I won't turn down a conversation, but I start to get uncomfortable when people start telling me about their personal problems and then I just become the listener.
I guess to most people I come of as a motherly person or a best buddy that they can confide in because they know I won't go blab to anyone else about it.......and I don't.
