Not only is it not a word it`s very annoying. If you unthaw something you refreeze it!!! Another one that annoys me is when people say " I could care less" instead of "I couldn`t care less." If you could care less means that you care somewhat.

"unthaw" is not a legitimate word. the only word that you should use, correctly, is "refreeze". You cannot use freeze as it has already been frozen before the thaw. Therefore, only refreeze can be used.

Unthaw is another illogical negative. Use the word "thaw" instead.

To unthaw would be to freeze. In which case, you'd just say freeze.

arrrgh! No its not, and if it freakin is it should be outlawed immediately!!! It totally irritates me..........To thaw is to melt or defrost etc.........to "unthaw" something would be technically to freeze the damn thing!!!!!
