The Democrats raise our taxes for hobos, druggies, special needs people, and slum bums in cities that I could care less about to make it look like they care about them. I should not have to pay for these losers of society just because I am rich. It's these people's fault they are not rich, and I am paying for it.

VOTES!

They want bums so they can continue the big life!

Just like the immigration deal, they have tricked the Mexicans into voting for them, and Islamos.

They don't want people who run on core principles, they just want money and lots of it.

George W. Bush is the laziest president in recent history. He has taken more vacation days by far than any other president. He has never held a REAL job or done an honest day's work. If he wasn't the son of a multimillionaire he'd be standing at a corner with a 'will lie for food' sign. If you support the work ethic, then you should support an equal start for everybody. 100% inheritance tax, make Bush rise or fall on his own merit, not daddy's. I wouldn't hire him to manage a Subway sandwich shop and I doubt any other owner would either.

But Bush aside, what's your solution? Concentration camps? Shoot on sight? If you want to live in a paradise where there are no social welfare systems, I'd suggest you move to the third world. Try Brasil, for example. Or where I live, Costa Rica. Amazingly enough, the 'bums' don't disappear just because the government offers no help to them.

By the way, the hardest workers I know of are illegal farm laborers. I don't see Republicans trying to make their lives any easier. But if you're a 3 martini lunch hedge fund manager who just lost his investors billions of dollars, they stand behind you all the way. Remember 'Kenny-Boy Lay?' Probably not.

I don't appreciate you attacking special needs people. My son is a special needs child, and my husband and I don't rely on ANYONE but ourselves to pay for our sons medical bills. We could have gotten the assistance for him, but we chose not to because we are fortunate enough to pay for his needs. Unfortunately some people are not so fortunate. I don't agree with some people taking money from the government, but some people really do need it. After my son was born, just his 13 day stay in the hospital was $350,000, how many people can afford to pay that? We were fortunate to have insurance that would cover that. Please don't attack people because they have less than you. There are alot of people who don't deserve the money, and they're the ones who usually get first dibs on it. The people who really need it then have trouble getting the help they need. Perhaps you should attack those who CAN do something about their situation, not those who can't help it!!!

BTW I'm a Republican

You oppose socialized welfare -- so do I.

That doesn't make us right or wrong -- because it's a subjective matter of what's good for the US.

There is a difference of opinion in this country over the role of the govt -- many people want to create a nanny state where everyone has their needs taken care of -- many people want it to just be tough on security and not actually provide any social services. Some oppose both of these practices.

It's a difference of opinion on the role of govt. And being have to have that difference of opinion is what makes America great.

It's not just the democrats! It is society. And it is the Republicans that make sure the rich are able to hang onto their money while it is the middle and lowers class that pay for it in taxes.

This is another iteration of the welfare myth. There is no welfare. The closest thing to welfare we have is TANF, that is Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. TANF provides income to parents with dependent children. There is a work and/or job training requirement for the program. And there is a 60 month cumulative life time limit to be in the program.

These are facts. Facts will never convince "True Believers" in any myth. But those are still the facts.

So you would rather have rampant homelessness and begging on the streets?

Not everyone is capable of being educated to further advance themselves for a multitude of reasons.

How is having third world conditions in the U.S. a good thing?

You may be rich, but your also a jerk. If your investments went south you would probably be first in line at the Social Security office.

And they look like such honorable, caring, good hearted bunch for doing it too! But, nobody sees how they go about doing it and if they get their way we will never get to know what they are about! They take from one group of people like the elderly who actually needs their benefits and gives it to some of those who will never have to work a day in their lives if they do it right! Meanwhile I go broke trying to take care of them all thru my taxes!

You could learn something from the special needs people I work with on how to judge people on their beliefs and morals as opposed to their political affiliation....the real loser here is you

The richest men in America, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates are Democrats and have made a commitment to contributing and providing charities to the greater good. Why can't you follow that example?
