Its a 1995 model - MTD Yardman ( has the front of a newer Bolens tractor) - 18.5HP Briggs twin cylender, 42" deck, special decal package ( no longer OEM availible) , midnite blue and yellow paint and of all things : 4 wheel steering. It runs, but still needs work, i plan on an above OEM finish on it for showing. Apparently its rare, since not even Lowes dosent even have info on it. Im just curious if anyone else owns or ever seen one before ( this cant be the only one) .

I practically have all the parts but hubcaps and the decal package , i bot a parts tractor with identical parts ( that saved tons on parts) - the hubcaps are availible at nearby tractor parts place.

Get under the seat of your tractor and get the MTD model number, the 11 place alphanumeric number and then get onto www.needlawnmowerparts.com. The live help is open from Monday - Friday and they will be able to help you locate any available parts for this model.

The really great thing about mtd is that the part numbers are on nearly every part somewhere or the other. You can look up the mowers Lowe's sold in 1995 and find the one that matches the tractor and the numbers they gave you. I just looked and there are about 10 different MTD products sold that year. Go to this site, it's just parts breakdowns, you can choose the products tag and look at all of the machines sold by Lowe's in 1995. You can get help there to look if you want.
