i thank all who answered my question that is it wrong to have a cell phone at 15....
Now my problem is my parent they wont allow me to have one...
Can someone please help me convince them to get me one???
Any advice???
I told the i would pay the bills but they said no.

I know kids 10 and 11 who have one...........it is for security and safety..........it is dangerous out there..............
If you get a prepaid one, you can't blow $500 in a month,,,,,,,It just will not work...............
If you spend a couple of hours a day on the home phone, get the same phone company as your biggest caller..........you usually don't pay wthin the network...
Ask them the specific reasons they don't want you to have one.('because I said so' is not a reason once you reach 9)..then you can have answers...........

So go out and get yourself one of those "pickup and go" phones, you know the ones where you have to buy those cards to reload minutes into them. At least this way you will never owe a bill and will only buy minutes when you can afford them.
The only way you will blow $500 or more a month is if you can't show even a shred of self control!

I would ask them if you could start with the pay as you go phone, I would also explain that you want it in the event of an emergency to contact them. I would also explain that you want to start having responsibilities that will teach you lessons that you need as an adult.

well y wont they let u have a cell phone. i got a cell phone @ 13. do they have a cell phone plan, u could add a line onto theirs.

what i did was go out three times as much and if they tried to reach me they couldnt, so i said, ill get payas u go. and they were like, ya thats perfect, im only thirteen so u kno, itll prob work for u seeing as ur getting a car too
