Pay as you go...but I would get a better deal on contract. It depends how much you spend a month on your phone. If it's consistently more than £15 then a good contract would be better value but if you only use your phone in emergencies then go for pay as you go.

It depends how often your going to use it and what for. I've got a private mobile phone which is pay as you go, I use it for texting mostly, it costs £20 a month 4 800 texts the i get free weekend calls and texts. I've also got a business contract phone, when the bill comes in each month I sometimes get quite a shock!!!!

Well if you are like me and like changing your phone on a regular basis, then I would consider a contract.
I am on a £35 a month contact with orange an I get 400 mins and Unlimited texts for that.
My contarct runs out in January '08 and will be getting a new phone then probably on the same contract.

Contract -- for me this is best. Even though I am an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree, I have so many things going on each day ... and use it for many purposes besides calling (including Weather Alerts especially since I live along the Gulf Coast).
Pay-As-you-Go would definitely cost a LOT more per month than my contract cell service (in my case).

Simple freedom!!! Pay as you go. Its either by the minute-15 cents a minute and 10 cents per text message- or you can now get plans by the month. And they have all kinds of phones-even Blackberrys and Razrs. Ive had it almost 2 years and Im very pleased with the service. And its through Altel.

it depends, if ur a big talker and are willing to pay about 40-50 dollars a month for two years, get a contract, if u just use a cell phone once or twice a day like i do, get pay as u go, preferably cingular seeing as they have refils every where and u can buy minutes right on ur phone

Contract. Pay as you go are for people with bad credit. Contract is cheaper and you can have a phone with more features and options.
