Hi there;
You may think that buying a character is the way to go, but you will certainly be banned permanently from the game, as they will easily find that you have a purchased account by doing an IP search.
Level up the normal way, or lose all rights to ever play runescape again. This happened to my best friend, and he cannot even make a new account anymore.
Just make a guy, and build him up the normal way, really, it's worthwhile!
By the way, using the sites mentioned above will also lead to a permanent ban.

Sure, then you can work on the character and get a bunch of money for them & they take him back from you and you've wasted all that time. If you want a well leveled character you need to do the work YOURSELF!
If you haven't noticed already there's a guy posting before me just trying to scam you out of him already.

Runescape is by far the best online multiplayer game compared to others around such as Habbo Hotel. One thing that you should be aware of is that this game is of a high addiction level, and can get you sitting on it for hours on end.
