I just read an answer to a question and someone said that most men think a woman over 40 is fat, ugly or both. And if not they're seperated, or divorced and probably ready to "get it on" right away. Opinions????

The majority of my friends are over 35 and single. Is this the mentality that keeps them from finding a good man?

Ok I'm so very very glad I do not know who this person is that said this because he would soooo get such a stern talking to from me!! lol
Easy? **shudders** Personally, I think that the older a woman is, the wiser she is and after all of the experiences she has had with misinformed men (such as this one) we know what we need in life and therefore we are anything but easy. I can almost tell without 5 minutes if a man is going to be witty and clever and intelligent and sensitive and open and honest. And I can also tell when they aren't. Easy is so far from the reality of the picture. It is more like picky. Most women that are over 40 you would never look at at even imagine that they were. Just how sad that is that this poor man imagines that they are fat or ugly when most of the women 40 and older are extremely beautiful, sexy and soooo much wiser than the women that are 20 years younger but will someday too have the wisdom that comes with experience. We are engaged in life.... are set for life....... and know what it takes to make us happy and are not about to settle for anything less. If that is easy.... well its new to me sister!! :)

Why would you even give ignorant, immature people who would ask a question like this (or answer it for that matter) a serious thought? Seriously ... just look around you. Go ahead and people watch the next time you're out and about. People come in all shapes and sizes ... no matter their age. I'm in my late 30's and I can tell you that NONE of my friends are like this and a lot of them are totally HOT. And they are mature enough to know that sleeping around is NOT cool. It's younger girls who have no clue about life or their health that tend to be "easy". As woman grow up they realize it's about so much more than just sex.
You're only considered easy if it's proven you sleep around. You can't just assume that about ANYONE. Unless you know someone personally and how many "easy" people do you know? I don't know many ... but then I choose my friends wisely. I'd spend my time worrying about more productive things than what jerks like you've mentioned here have to say.

That was the mentality of a Juvenile idiot.
They are obviously, defintiely not in touch with what is going on in this world today. They are still in that teeny bopper age.
All the men I know like women 30 or 40 over. Look at Demi and Ashton and oh God so many More. The men I have talked to like experienced Women that are comfortable with their sexuality without being whacked out on Drugs.

I disagree, some people might think because a woman is over a certain age that she is desperate and will take what ever comes her way, but there are plenty of mature women out there who are sexy smart and attractive and only single because they chose to be or because thats just how its worked out.
Like wise there are plenty of young women out there who feel a desperate need to constantly have someone in there life and who do accept all kind of crap because of it.
It's all about the individual, age has little to do with it.

I don't consider myself 'random', more like 'comical'. Sure sometimes I can say something like '...Today is a Tuesday. The tuesdayiest of days' or something, but nothing like 'look a butterfly!' i know that gets really annoying when people say 'LOL IM SO RANDOM!' it's just like 'you don't need to point it out. chances are you're normal' I think that random would be applied to the Harry Potter character (HP fans, you know what I mean) Luna Lovegood. If you ever wanted to meet someone random, its Luna.

These days, looks and appearances are very important. Because of these, there are some 40 years old men and women who think that they are old, hagged, torn, dislike-able, etc. They didn't know that other than outer appearance, there's your inner self.
When one knows how to bring themselves up, no matter how old they are, they can bring their confidence up and show the world what they are made of. Important thing is that they have to ignore what others say as everything they do, they have to bear the consequences, not the gossipers.

Clearly that answer was not given by a real man, my friend. I fall into the over 35 category and I assure you I am not 'easy'. Furthermore, I think sterotyping people is just ignorant, plain and simple :)

You would be considered easy if you said, lets go for it, at any age. Pick and choose, and anyway who cares what some think of older women; if you a personally happy, then that is all that matters.

I think after a person reaches a certain age or maturity they are anything but easy. Sex is no longer a big priority to them. They have learned that life is about more then just sex. And they also know that dogs will be dogs no matter the age.
