Hi!
She's definitely impulsive... but not constantly and not unjustifiably.
She punches Draco once and not until Book 3 after many offenses.
She kisses Ron *finally* on Book 7, and only after he reveals to have understood something that means the world to her (SPEW).
And so on...
And, as far as the mirror, that is not impulsivity. That's just brains! She has been pushed by Harry (throughout Book 2) to understand what's going on with Hogwarts and the attacks. She finally gets and idea and goes to the library. She learns about the basilisk and uses the mirror... That's pure logic! Not impulsiveness, don't you think?!
She is impulsive!
And I love her!
Goodluck!

I don't really think she is that impulsive really. One example, when Harry is trying to get to London to 'save' Sirius, she tries to make him be reasonable. Draco was asking for that punch. Her and Ron have liked each other for a long time. Dancing with Krum was to get away from Ron. Setting fire to Snape's robes was when harry was in mortal danger. Of course she can be impulsive at times, but I think she thinks her actions through a little more that harry and ron.

I think she's as impulsive as she needs to be- and in a series like Harry Potter, that means she does have to be rather impulsive at times! Seriously, if anyone was put into those situations, wouldn't you think they'd react similarly? I believe I would. At the same time, she uses her head. That Hermione's a smart one- her "impulsive" acts almost always work out! She's really got a knack for knowing what to do in just about every situation, and that's why we all love Hermione!

Draco deserved it, she loves Ron, Krum was her date to the dance, and she was trying to save Harry's life. So, no.

Of course she is. She's unpredictable, smart, helpful, and always knows what to do. She goes with her emotions. Without her the trio would just be Ron and Harry, who aren't stupid, but would not have gotten as far as they have without her brains.

If you think that she's impulsive, what about Ginny? She finds a strange book that talks to her in her school supplies and decides that it's a good idea to tell it all of her secrets.

Hey hey hey! You'd be impulsive too if you were friends with Harry Potter, and the smart one.

she only seems impulsive because she is so much smarter than everyone else and they cant understand why she does things...they think she is reckless when she is merely the only one seeing the big picture...
