Circ = pi * D, = 157meters
157 / 4 = 39.3 m/min = 0.6545m/sec
0.7 m/sec rounded

Radius = 25 metres
Circumference = diameter * pi
Circumference = 2 * 25 * 3.14159 =157.0795 metres
1 revolution takes 4 minutes.
As the answer required is in metres per second we need to translate the revolution time in seconds.
1 revolution takes 4 minutes = 4 * 60 = 240 seconds.
Therefore each second the wheel will travel a distance of
157.0795 / 240 = 0.6544979 metres per second.

Answer = 0.7m / sec

Find the Circumference.
C = 2r3.14
C =157m

Convert measurements
4 min =240 sec

Find the speed.
average speed = 157m /240 sec
average speed = 0.65 m/sec

Round to the nearest tenth.
0.65 m/sec 0.7 m/sec

My Answer is 0.7m/sec.

Speed is distance over time, so

2π(25)/4 = 25π/2 m/min =
25π/2 m / 60 s = 5π/24 m/s =
0.654498 m/s ≈ 0.7 m/s
