Define ally. Pakistan calling themselves an "ally" reminds me of Bush calling himself a "conservative".
Also, did not the US meet with North Korea while the conflict was in full swing? I guess meeting with the enemy to save/spare the lives of US soldiers is a terrible thing to do.
Does telling the enemy to "Bring it on" make more sense??? I have never lost a fight. YET, I have always gone out of my way to avoid fighting whenever possible. Even if it meant talking to the person making the threats.
Q: Does avoiding war make one seem weak, or wise?

I'm not exactly an Obama supporter, but in his defense, there were a lot of caveats in his recent statements on invasion of Pakistan that the media ignored or is taking out of context.

Yes, he's a very serious candidate. What's not serious is our current foreign policy. You can't simply ignore the people you don't agree with. It doesn't make the situations any better. In addition, you can't simply violate their soverignty because they piss you off. Diplomacy is key. At least Obama understands that.

Well other than what you have to say is baloney. When you speak of allie. Are you speaking of Pakistan? If so how can they be considered an allie when they are possibly harboring terrorists?

Great Point --and, NO, he's not a serious candidate. He's an imbecile and as many leaders around the world now think - he's "ignorant".

Obama, Like Hillary, has never been in charge of anything; CEO, Gov, Mayor, Officer in the Military.
He has never led people, been in charge, the MAN!
Your first leadership position should not tbe the President of the United States.

No. If he said how he would like to accomplish those things instead of just saying what everyone wants to hear, I would take him more seriously.

I thought because he was a "brother" he was perfectly competent :( No, what do you expect from someone who doesn't support our troops? (and before I get yelled at, I don't mean supporting war, I mean, he's voted AGAINST funding our troops.)
