Please comment if YOUR know about air conditioner SENSORS***
as the substance for air conditioning was replaced twice in just days,
and it would NOT cool even during first Five minutes , so theres no leak., its a sensor.
it blows luke warm, wihtin less than five minutes ofreplacing the air substance.,
then blows cool,then luke warm.each day.now.
so it must be some sensor, NOT a leak. please help,
IF you know about sensors
and how "many "sensors does a 2001 kia reo have,?
it has only fifty five thous. miles on it.
I preplaced the Fan.New.
as it started to over heat twice .
on kia reo.
It blows out fine, but cools only seldom within five minutes of replacing the substance.at a garage.twice.so its not a leak, if it were a leak, it would cool great within the first five

they did not know what else it can be.
Is there a item one can purchase to check on air conditoning?
sensor problems.?
Only comment if you know about Air C. Sensors please.
I'm into endicott.ny.

You have to take it to a real A/C auto technician. those guys You are giving Your car does not know what They are dealing with.

if Threy are only adding Freon (the substance) the High Pressure Cut-Out swicth (one of the sensors) is cutting the compressor's clutch out. due to the high side pressure ,....is way up ,too much.

Warning: Do not get close to that thing,if the High pressure Side's hose explode it will blind You forever.

There are a few possible solutions. If you has a "cabin (particulate filter) filter" it might need to be changed. The cabin filter is located behind the glove box. The sides of the glove box can be bent inwards, and the glove box will fall forward. You will see a big plastic black box, it should have a flap to pop open, you will find a filter. The filter is to filter out pollen, dirt and other things in the outside air before the get into the car.
Second, if this isn't the case, does your car overheat, run hot? Look at your water temperature gage on the dashboard, the needle should be in the middle or lower, between cool and hot (C and H). If it is higher after more than five minutes of driving, check you anti freeze in your radiator. Top off radiator (after it has cooled for at least a half an hour, it's really hot, you can get serious burned). If you are missing anti freeze, you might have a problem with a sticking thermostat ($8) item. The thermostat is easy to get to. You will see the a rubber hose coming off the top of the radiator, going to the engine. The rubber hose attaches to a metal elbow, held down by two bolts (1/2 inch diameter bolts). When the car is cool, remove the bolts, you will see the thermostat, replace it, put in a new thermostat gasket or use thermostat gasket goop. Long winded explanation, sorry.

Blonde is right! How many more times are you going to ask this question. You are stuck on the idea it`s a sensor. If you had the system serviced by a professional, they would have checked the operation of the system before letting you go. Sounds like you had a pal do a backyard refill with out the proper tools. Its NOT a sensor. It could be many things, but it`s not something you can fix yourself.

Well, if it doesn't leak, and it was filled twice, ...it's overfull.......

ADDED:
Or, it could be a stuck "blend door" in the heater box not closing off the heater core and opening the A/C side.
