I have never worked in a restaurant but have heard horror stories

I'm a line-cook. I have never screwed with food in an unhealthy or unsanitary way---I mean I have given real late {closing time} diners very small portions before, but
nothing inedible.
I consider myself a pro, and good food supercedes any feelings I might have for any guest.
Guests are a necessary evil in the hospitality business!!!
A pricky server can also impact serving size for their guests,even timing perhaps, but I'm not real supportive of the BOH/FOH conflict.
We're all trying to make a living, but I urge all servers to be nice to the kitchen staff.

I work in a restaurant and nope i never saw that happen that if something falls the food is made all over again! it takes longer but its better for health issues!

One time during a dinner rush, I dropped a Chicken finger on the floor in the kitchen. I picked it up and put it back on the plate. The customer nevr knew.

I never did, I never saw it happen, either, I worked in a restaurant for a couple of years in high school.

long ago at a IHOP in california i was hired at the age of 14 doing busboy work, and i was thrilled working! anyways the head busboy who was 16 used to spit in the butter, the butter at IHOp is in large bricks and put into a bowl and blended, since i sqw him do that i quit using any type of butter in restaurants!

I have this nightmare of it happening when I am the customer, like them dropping my food on the floor and serving it to me anyway. GROSS!

I personally have not, but let it be known that many people do. Pretty much live by the cardinal rule: NEVER F*** WITH SOMEONE WHO HANDLES YOUR FOOD

No I have not that would be a pretty cruel thing to do, but I have heard from a lot of people that they have it done to them. Just remember KARMA... How would you feel if it was done to you?

i never would do anything but i worked with someone who spit in a ladys soda because she was being very rude to him. it was absolutely disgusting. trust me the nicer you are to your server the better service you will have.
