We are still working there. My brother was killed there on july 9 while training the Afgan army. And no, we arent teaching them to hold hostages. But if you feel so bad for the taliban, perhaps you should take a trip over there and ask the Afgani's how much they miss them. According to my brothers communications the general population was estatic to see them go.

I don't think soooo........He didn't care about Afghanistan. He had no intention of finishing the job there. Afghanistan was simply a political gateway for him to invade Iraq, which Wolfowitz, Perl and Kagan told Clinton ther Project for a New American Century wanted him to invade in 1998.

Clinton didn't buy it.

The invasion of Iraq was a primary goal of the Bush adminstration prior to his election. They just didn't say it on the campaign trail. This intention was no secret to those of us that have been paying attention to politics for decades.

We had the chance to take them out and bin laden. Instead Bush opted to put all of our resources in Iraq. Proving once again, the GOP is soft on terror.
