A lot of people get so caught up in who is a republican and who is a democrat but that shouldn't matter. We need the best American for America. I could care less if they are black, white, green or blue. We need an everyday joe for president. We need someone who has had to work 60-70 hrs a week just to have enough money to pay the bills and still feed the family. We need someone who will restructure America and say the hell with everyone else for now I have my own country with problems to deal with. We need a president who will tell the world WE ARE AMERICA DAMMIT SO DON'T TREAD ON ME.

Mike Gravel.

We can do no less at this point in time. We either elect a man who really cares for us and wants to empower us, or we elect another millonaire career politician and get more of the same.

This is a crucial election in history. We're deciding where the country is heading in this next century. If you want more of the same corruption, sececry, partisan hackery, politics as usual, etc etc, then vote for Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Giuliani, McCain, Romney, etc. If you want change, if you want a man who has courage, principles and integrity and has proved it time and time again, vote, support, donate to Mike Gravel.

In 1971 he did a one-man filibuster for five months in the Senate and forced the end of the military draft. Around that same time he read the classified Pentagon Papers into the Congressional record, exposing the lies and manipulation of the government that got us into the Vietnam War. Hes a man committed to the truth.

So if you want the straight truth, vote Gravel. If you want a politician who will tell you what you want to hear and then forget it all when they get elected, vote for those I mentioned before.

At this point with limited research on all the candidates, I would like to see Fred Thompson as President and Joe Biden as Vice President!

Joe Biden.

I like him because he's a class act. He speaks unlike any politican I have ever heard. He speaks with passion and is genunine. I like his forgien policy background and feel he would do an amazing job saving the Middle East with his plan for Iraq.

He's the only candidate with plans laid out. He doesn't mud sling unlike Clinton and Obama. He is decent. He is honest. He has been so open and honest about this plagarism in 1988 which makes him more endeering. I like honesty - he did wrong and made a mistake and that say's a lot about a politician but also as a person.

Check out this youtube of him too: It is really moving.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio from Arizona. He rocks! He treats prisoners like they SHOULD be treated. Inmates do not want to come back to his jail when Joe is done with them.

They wear pink undergarments
Watch G rated tv
Don't get coffee or soda (no nutritional value)
Work in chain gangs
Eat 2 times a day (not three)
Live in tents outside

I could go on and on, but it just gets me too excited! :) OOh, I forgot to mention that he just outlawed illegals coming to visit their jailed family members in his jail. How can he allow someone illegal (breaking the law) to come in and visit a jail bird? Not gonna happen, he makes sense.

Me

I would withdraw our troops from Europe and South Korea and deploy them to Iraq and Afganistan. I would bring our reserves home to defend our borders against illegals. I would end the income tax and initiate a national sales tax of 10% on everything. I would eliminate the Departments of Education, Commerce, Homeland Security, Labor, and HHS. I would empower people to take control of their own future by allowing them to invest any portion of their Social Security tax into private retirement accounts. I would end the elitist federal pension program our elected reprentatives gave themselves at our expense and put them back on Social Security. I would invest more money into the rebuiling of our infrastructure with closely scrutinized federal contracts with companies that have NO ties to anyone in my Administration. I would enact tort reform to reign in trial lawyers whose gluttonous litigations have caused our health care costs to skyrocket. I would give parents the right to choose the school they want to send their children to with tax credits(vouchers). I would tell the UN that it has one week to pack its bags and get off American soil. Whether I choose to continue our pointless participation in that useless organization will be left to a vote by the American people, but we will no longer give diplomatic immunity to a bunch of assholes who hate us anyway. I will eliminate all free trade agreements and reinstitute bi-lateral trade agreements that benefits each country and its people.

America will be richer and stronger.

Lee Iacocca. Look at how he turned Chrysler around. The government, no matter how you look at it, is a business. And it will be a profitable business if the customers (people) have their trust in it.

Walt Disney because his fantasies at least entertained many generations. The story tellers in congress today lack originality.

I would have to ponder this question at great length, but it would certainly be some semi anonymous person who accomplished what they really wanted to.
