I work at a custodian at an university and we use Limeaway to keep water spot, and soap scum, etc. off all our showers doors, and steel shower walls. You might have to try it a few times if there is a built up but it should work.

Good Luck!

I recently had a windshield replaced in my car and asked the installer the same question. His glass shop sells a product that in essence allows you to re-buff the glass with a very very mild abrasive. He said it works but does take a lot of elbow grease to get it done.

Limeaway etc. How about getting a water softener installed in your home? If the water is very hard it will be furring up your hot water tank, pipes, kettle etc.
