Read at least 2 pieces you don't know or are uncomfortible with a day - DO NOT MAKE A POINT TO WORK ON THEM.

Research tells that the most efficient way to become a better reader is to read lots and lots of EASY material every day!

If you are slogging through material with lots of technical terms or terms that you do not understand, this will cut your reading speed.

If you have trouble finding the proper level of reading material:
Talk to a librarian or reading teacher. Ask for high interest low reading ability books.

I recommend reading aloud for about 20 minutes a day. You can read to a youngster or dog or mirror.

Then read silently for, at least, 45 minutes a day.

After a few months you will notice that there is a great deal more easy material available!!!!!
