It's a matter of opinion, and every person is different. Some people like Hamlet, some people Julius Caesar, Romeo & Juliet, etc.

Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet are definately the most popular of all. But I really prefer Macbeth and A Midsummer's Night's Dream

King Lear. It's a fine example of a genius at the height of his power. Othello and Hamlet come a close second.

All of them are well written and pretty much equal.
