I know that the whole Bonds thing has been yacked about enough, but I just watched the clip of when McGuire broke Marris's record and I remebered how cool it felt, and all of the excitement leading up to it, but when I read on the net that Barry had caught up to Hank it was like "Oh Well"

Neither are the least bit important anymore. Maris if I had to chose one because it brought the fans back to baseball.

bonds by far! remember Barry has never been a nice guy to the press, so the press mostly despise him! on the other hand in yesterdays interview i thought Barry was perfect! he showed tons of class honoring aaron and other former greats! too bad Selig doesnt have enough class except to look dumbfounded!

Are you serious man? Bonds catching hank is 1,000,000,000,000 times more important than Mac catching Maris.

well its gonna have to be Bonds, especially considering mcgwires single season HR record no longer stands...
