Islam and Christianity are the two religions have consistently waged war against humanity for hundreds of years. Tancredo may as well be consistent about putting a stop to that kind of problem.

No -- by his analogy, we should have bombed the Vatican during the 1100s to 1500s -- to stop the Crusades and the Inquisition.

Since those mass world-wide Christian jihads are no longer taking place, it won't do anything but make Christians angry.

It's much more effective to actually deal with the individuals who are causing the problems, rather than attacking the center of the religion and angering the people that otherwise would be peaceful.

But then, the same can be said in most situations.

Catholics are not on Jihad to my knowledge. He has a very valid target in Mecca and Medina. The Jihadists are fighting in the name of a religion, perhaps if their actions proved to do great damage to that religion then the majority would put a stop to the murder.

I think he used it for example, and never intended on any such thing. He has good points and bad points, as all do. Right now, I agree with him only about immigration. To bad we can not pick each issue we like from each candidate, and find one person that full fills all our wishes for a special candidate, but it want happen. Regardless of who we pick, we want like all things they may be for or against. I am still not sure who I will vote for, to early to decide.
