Throughout the past 6 years, I have seen and heard people blame Bush for anything from Katrina, to the tsunami, to the MN bridge collapse. How can people expect the majority of Americans to take these people seriously, when they make accusations such as these? Bush aimed Katrina at New Orleans? Bush caused the bridge collapse? How? I've even heard people say Bush caused the sun to become more active. If he's that powerful, I'm glad he's on our side. *shaking my head*

joeanimal - The military was gutted by Clinton. Durring his term, I saw military housing go from green lawns and nice houses, to patchy lawns, garbage, and grafitti on the walls. This is just one small result or his reduction to the military.

Drag Queen - The recession was caused by 911, since, our economy is the best it's every been in history. We have the lowest national unemployment rate....EVER! 911 was caused by Muslims extremists who have been at war with the west since the 70's. The facts speak for themselves. I could go into every accusation you mentioned, but if I have to explain it to you, .....well....I don't need to say it now, do I?

He has the power to collapse bridges and start hurricanes. All hail Bush Almighty.

Seriously though, people will find ways to attack anybody. President Bush is a good man, whether you agree with his policies OR NOT. He might look like an idiot to a lot of people, but his problem is that he is just not eloquent. We have friends that personally know and work with the President, and they always characterize him as the sweetest, most articulate man they have met. If YOU had to stand in front of hundreds of millions of people and give a policy that you know people will hate you for regardless, you would be nervous and bumbling as well.

History hopefully will be much kinder to President Bush than most people today will be.

While George W. Bush may be the worst president in recent history, his opponents should not blame him for everything that goes wrong. I know, since his supporters demonize their opponents in exactly that fashion, that it is tempting. That still does not make it right.

George II and his Bush League have engaged us in a pointless and unwinnable war, bankrupted our economy and run up a deficit of previously unimagined proportions. They have subverted the processes of Congress to remove the checks and balances designed by the authors of the Constitution and made political correctness the defining criteria for public service. Isn't that enough?

Do we really believe that a man who can make those kinds of blunders is smart enough to direct the course of a hurricane? He might not be smart enough to direct relief efforts, true, but we can't blame the hurricane on him as well. Let's be fair!

Still, if the White House and its lickspittles did not use exactly the same scattergun blame tactics on the "Lieberals" the rest of us might actually feel some anger about the unfairness of the return criticism. As it is it looks to me like the GOP can dish it out, but whine when it comes back to them.

because they dislike anyone who wants America to be strong, and they refuse to accept that fact that the terrorist declared war on us. we are at war...

because they think terrorist are really just a bunch of people who are protesting our evil nation and the crimes we perpetrate against them.
