Can someone elude jail time if they were arrested for agravated assult with intent to commit a felony and battery domestic including bodily harm. Prior domestic as well (5 years ago) Victim is dropping all charges and judge released person without posting bond and now back with the victim OK'd by judge.

If the prosecutor drops the case because the victim doesn't want to press charges -- maybe.

But if the prosecution can prove the elements of the crime (even without the victim's help) -- given the prior violent crime -- it's unlikely that (if convicted) the person will avoid all jail time.

victim dropped charges. and that is a scumbag judge. what can you do?
