Fleas are very hard to get rid of but you can do it if you work hard at getting rid of them and you have to work twice as hard to keep them away.
First you need to bomb your house. If the infestation is that bad. Now for the animals. Dog or cat. You can get a chewable tablet from your vet. You can give this to your pet everyday if need be. It will kill any flea on your pet within 2-4 hours. This way you can get this under control and not bring in any more fleas. Get your pets on a garlic regimen. That will keep fleas OFF your pets. Or powdered yeast. That also works. Also for your home you can sprinkle Arm n Hammer baking powder on your carpet and furniture. Keep it on for 2 or 3 days then vacuum. That will help in the house. If you keep your pets in your yard, treat your yard with TIDE. Yup, you read right. (Of course make sure it won't rain for a few days). I have a ranch and many dogs and cats. IT REALLY WORKS. Good luck...

Getting rid of fleas is a very long and expensive process. You can go to the local CO-OP or other farm store and get Diazanon granules and sprinkle them in the yard. Then you have to treat the house and your animals at the same time. Take your pets to a grooming kennel or vet and have them treated for fleas. While they are there, treat the house (preferably every room to start) with a flea bomb. Then, approx 14 days later, repeat the same process with the pets. Fleas' cycles are usually every 14 days. Treating the yard again would not be necessary because the Diazanon dissolves gradually into the ground with the morning dew or when it rains. I know this is a frustrating situation. I'vebeen there. Good luck!

i think of cedar oil basically kills fleas in case you drown them in it even though it incredibly is asserted to repel them. you're unquestionably top, in case you notice one there are plenty greater you do no longer see. bypass to the vet and get between the topical remedies for the canines. They paintings and are the main interior your ability and maximum secure way of getting rid of fleas. they'll kill despite fleas get on the canines no depend the place he picked them up. With long journey of attempting to do away with fleas in the previous those products became attainable, i'm going to declare they are the only element that rather works. they have worked so properly for me that with 3 outdoor cats and a couple of canines, I even have basically mandatory to observe the stuff approximately as quickly as a three hundred and sixty 5 days for the previous 12 years after an preliminary 3 months' application. If I see a flea or flea poop on everybody, all of them get dealt with. And in case you're talking appropriate to the quartz as a deodorant, it is not quartz yet there is one noted as Crystal Stick that rather does paintings. Been making use of it for years.

Stop torturing yourself!! Sprays, home remedies, powders, collars...they don't work when things are 'infested'. Go to the grocery store and buy flea bombs! Plan on being able to leave your house with your pets for at least four hours. Hang out with a family member for the day. When you come home...open up all the windows and go outside for another hour. You will return to your house and things will be flea free. Make sure you read the directions THOROUGHLY as directions may vary.

If you don't want to go through the trouble of doing it yourself call your local exterminator. Terminex or Ehrlich's are two well known companies.
