ive reached the boss fight in Giruvegan (tyrant) I am level 41 with my three main characters but i still cannot beat it. If you beat Final Fantasy XII can you tell me how to level up my characters to level 99 without taking too much time?

I never had a problem with anything in FF12 other than Ultima (/em shakes his fist at Reverse) and Gilgamesh (but I was like lvl 50 and it took me 2 hours to beat him).

When I play I get my Double LP item from Henne Mines until just before Arcadeas. At that point I got the Double EXP item -- you can steal them off the Coerals. How do you have your licence board set up? You should really have all your character augments filled by that point so you will be getting to + HP, the + Speed, and + hMP. Those will make any fight easier. As far as spells: Haste (increase speed), Bubble (Doubles HP), Regen (incrimental increases to health) are by far your best spells at that point. They should be on your characters at all times. 3 Gambits for every character should be Self:Haste, Self:Bubble, Self:Regen. After you get those then you should really have all characters have all three quickenings. MP x3 is better the MP x1 and that game is very much about the MP you have.

As a point of reference: I am replaying my game right now and am on my way to Giruvegan actaully. I think my characters (all of them, not just my main 3) are lvl 43-45 with aguments and magics complete, most of the accessories and/or techniques complete, the highest armor and weapons that are available to that point, and all three quickenings per person.

Ok, since you are already in Giruvegan, this is a pretty decent place to level up for the level you are now. Equip those Embroidered Tippets, you will receive double EXP. Do you have the spell Bubble or Bubble Belts? Bubble doubles your HP, and it is so helpful. Also, if you can survive it, the Necrohol of Nabudis and the Nabreus Deadlands are good leveling spots too. There are even better leveling spots in the game, but I don't think you would survive them at your current levels. Good luck.

the recommended level for giruvegan is level 43, it might be worth making a detour to level up a little first.

cast dispel on tyrant to make him a bit easier to fight, then use it's ice weakness against it. it has 180k health, so might take a bit to kill him.

Theirs no quick way I'm afraid try doing some hunts you can level up quite good on these or equip the item that gives you double exp(can't remember the name of it)but apart from that you will just have to stick at it
