We usually try to eat at least one meal together, but it's generally later in the evening. To get the entire family together would be a herculean task however, with the fallout from our nuclear family dotted across the country from New York to Minnesota, down to South Carolina, across to Texas by way of Huntsville Alabama, and all the way out to California, being sure to pass through Tuscon, Tempe, and Williams Arizona. If that ever happened, it would probably have to be breakfast. Breakfast is the meal that we linger over and talk through. Breakfast is the meal with lots of accessories to it. It is the meal that children love, with brightly colored cereal boxes, waffles to pour fruit, whipped cream and ice cream over, pancakes cleverly shaped in animal disguises, and lots of little pots of jellies, jams, and honeys.
today, Cathy is going out to get the coupons, Daniel is sleeping in, Liam is catching up on his beauty sleep after spending yesterday fishing, Mom is just getting into her first stage four sleep (she is a night person) and I am sitting here clattering over the pooter's keyboard. We are just about to have some whole grain cereal with some buckwheat honey before Cathy leaves though. Have a wonderful lunch with our family, give them lots of ducky hugs for us (watch that beak!) and we will see you back on the boards when you wander by.

Lunch with the family. I never eat when I'm focussed on something other than food and company -- never read in bed, either. Things die, and people work, so we can eat. Therefor food demands some veneration. When you're sweeping, know you're sweeping as the Buddhists say. Sadly, we live in barbaric times, in uncivilized societies, governed by ideas of time and its use dictated by the corporate interests of production and profit. But I am FREE - and have always demanded my liberty when I chose (or "get another boy!")

Hi Moon,
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday too.
We've had a busy day today as Troy was in one of her 'let's have a big clear out' moods. So we've got rid of loads of rubbish, we have boxes of stuff to go to a Charity shop and at least one room of the house looks more spacious. In the middle of it all, Troy still found time to cook us a chicken meal with rice and peas and other vegetables. Was really tasty. She's gone to work now and I'm sneaking back to my computer!!!!

Have all the family gather around the computer like they used to do in the olden days with radio before TV was invented.
Set up a buffet table and have fun!

i wish i could have lunch with my family this sunday, but that would be really impossible. my work and accomodation is very far from my country. so, i would go for a sandwich infront of a computer, have a chat with them. it'll be like coming home, just to have a lunchdate with them. now, you made me miss them... but it's okay, thanks for reminding... here's a star
