For both events, they went to commercial almost every two minutes. They swore they would show press conferences in their entirety, they didn't. At the Microsoft conference they talked over they Halo 3 trailer, then went to commercial before it was even completed.
At Comic con, they rarely spoke about comics instead they focused on movies, and geeks who were dressed up. What's the deal with that?

Yea it was terrible, I was PISSED when they went to commercial during the Halo 3 trailer sure the trailer was pretty weak but its the trailer of one of the biggest games for the 360! They did that with several trailers and entirely skipped over others, I couldn't believe a network dedicated to gaming could drop the ball so bad on the most important conference of the industry! The commercial interruption made the coverage almost unwatchable, after the main MS conference was over I ended up turning it off in frustration. I have no idea about Comic Con I didn't bother to watch it.

I didn't watch the Comic-con coverage, because I'm not much for comics. But the E3 coverage was their worst ever. My main complaint was the same as yours, too many commercials. G4 used to have great E3 coverage. This channel has gone to crap, as I mentioned in a previous question you asked. What a shame.
