I doubt very much that there will be a world in 7002. We are killing the world far too quickly.

If the human race is still around in 7002 then you can first garantee that we will still look the same unless we genetically modify the human form. We took much longer to evolve into the form we have now, so there shouldn't be any natural evolutionary changes on the surface. We will be a race of tan as predicted by the Budhists because of interbreeding. Internally however, it is likely that new nerve tracks will be laid down so the consciousness of humans will be changed. We will be less sex orientated and be able to change our sexual preferences as a matter of whim, we won't be stuck with the sexuality you are born with. I think the same will apply to the personality. People will be able to completely change their personalities at will and will probably do so several times during their life spans. I think we will move away from the animal instinct of sexuality and reproduction and have more controll over ourselfs. There will therfore be a smaller population, much fewer childred born and longer lifespans of perhaps hundreds of years. There will be less violence because we will have neurologically evolved away from the flight fight response that causes so much violence. We will know and understand much more about ourselfs and the universe. We will know about the psychic and have developed ways to enhance and use this ability. Some may chose to only comunicate telepathically and abandon speach altogether. New technology will come from our understanding of the psychic and the field of quantum physics. New art forms will arise from harnessing psychic ability. Three dimensional holograms will exist. We will be harnessing other aspects to our planets enrgy fields for use in various technolgy. There will be no more fossil fuels to use, so no cars, or factories or trains or planes as we would recognise it. I think by this time the transported device of star trek will come into existance and be used for transport. Because of the increased understanding of the psychic and of consciousness we will be able to relocate our consciousness where ever we want. So instead of going on holiday, you won't be taking your physical body but going into a different altered state where your consciousness will relocate to perhaps another body or object. We will have much more of a grasp on spirituality and come to a different understanding of life and death. Communication with those who have died will be common but using technology rather than mediums. I think we will come to understand that when we die we pass not to heaven but to another dimension and will be able to communicate with that dimension. God will still be a mystery but we will acknowledge it's existance and understand a little more about it's nature. This time will be the golden age spoken of.
Our homes will have a solid exterior wall but the interior walls will be made of energy that can be repositioned to create any number of rooms and any appearance to the walls. I don't think we will be cultivating live animals for slaughter but able to recreate meat, however most of the worlds population will be vegetarian, as it is now. The weather systems will be completely different and some costal regions like west coast America and the gulf of Mexico, Florida, parts of Britain and Europe will be underwater. The map of the world will look different, there may not be a frozen North or South pole. We will know about the existance of life on other planets and have communication with them.

Still spinning out of control in the universe, like a loose cannon because man found out - much too late - that all the oil he so greedily removed to feed his transportation 'needs,' like everything else in nature - had a purpose after all.

pople full of ideas that materialise in thin air
air being very polluted or very clean depending on their resources
people living together more harmoniously as they need each other
life would be challenging as resources would be limited and machines taking over what plants do forming o2 and food for them
learning would be a priority as their need for resources depended on it
and space travel would definitely have taken off to explore other places which are inhabitable
