It all depends on the scent, Lavender and chamomile are very relaxing scents, and when you get bath salts, candles, essential oils or lotions, anything that has those scents, it will help to relax you, but each person reacts differently, so something that puts one person to sleep immediately, could just make another person feel mellow.

Relaxation, like stress is a state of mind. If you think those things relax you, they will.
But why not realize what is causing the stress and eliminate it rather than let it effect you in the first place ?
You don't have to recover from something that was never there !

Not really relaxing but I love to burn them. As for baths I just take a quick shower and get out.

like candles but where I live can't have real ones and although the battery operated ones are all right they are NOT as good as the real thing.
