Aww theyre both really terrible afflictions and my heart goes out to everybody whois either death or blind. I would really h8 to choose: i live listening to music, to be able to sing and dance which i couldnt do if i was deaf. however, if i was blind, i would be constantly scared of if someone was behind me or if i was going ot be attacked, or walk in to a busy road or givin my number out to a really ugly guy so i think i would choose being deaf but i hope neither happens...

I'd chose deafness over blindness, but I've a visual artist so there is no choice really. Either would be difficult, but given time you'd adapt. At least you'd have the memory, far harder to be born without sight or hearing.

deaf, deaf people can learn to read lips and still get to see the beautiful things in life. life must be really tough when you can not see. you can't do things like drive a car. (Deaf people can, my sister in law is deaf and does very well)

neither. I am so lucky. but if i HAD to choose...
deaf- because you can see who you are communicating with and use sign language or speak. if I was blind, i would feel like I was missing out on so much.

hope I never have to choose,,,but I would rather be deaf then blind,,,,would not have to hear those loud radios in the car next to mine,,,but I could still take in the beauty of this great place,America!

Deaf, I would rather be able to see any day. I like knowing where I am walking.

Well, I don't think I can choose, because deaf people wish they could hear, and blind people wish they could see. I'm glad I'm neither.

deaf because i am afraid of the dark and plus if i was blind i would hear creepy noises and get scared especially since i wouldn't be able to see what it is
