AAA does cover motorcycles but you have to buy it as an option to your normal membership. Call them and tell them to add it. It is VERY GOOD. I have it myself. They will tow up to 100 miles I think. And it is cheap too.
I had a friend whose bike broke down on a ride, and we were 45 miles away from home. I called AAA and they towed it on my card membership for him. As a result, I got to be the hero. And while that is NOT what I had intended, I do beleive that if you are in a position to help your fellow riders with this benefit, other riders will be more likely to help you in a pinch.
It is also helpful because they will bring gas, or get your bike jumped as well. It is basically all the services they provide for cars but better, because they will go MUCH further than the other services.....
They sometimes combine it with RV coverage, so don't be surprised if that's what they sell you. Buy it Monday when they open.

AAA definitely. Good towing mileage, and other benefits. One I recently used was lock replacement. My trunk lock was damaged by a thief, and AAA covered the first $100 of a locksmith to replace it. (And the locksmith's fee was $120, so quite a deal.) Plus you get discounts with AAA at car rentals, florists, some clothing stores and other surprising places.

The normal plan doesn't cover motorcycle towing or flat tire. You can pay extra for motorcycle/RV service.
I've gotten a gas fill several times, and a jump start once, on the normal plan.

They cover it when you buy the RV plus. It's quite bit more, but since we have a travel trailer, too, it covers all our vehicles. It runs about $106 /year. I've never used it for my bike (it's never let me down), but we've used it for our truck & trailer.
