Read an article that stated that women find humor to be a wonderful trait in men. However, when men were asked they found a woman who is humorous to be more socially adept, but less trust worthy, honest and intelligent.
What is your opinion?

Read in a health & medical column in the local paper. I find it to be BS too.
If women don't have enough pressure now we're told "Don't be too funny" if you want men to find you attractive.
If this is the case, I'm buying stock in Everready batteries.

Humorous means your lack elsewhere? I don't think so. I'd love to know where you read that. I would imagine men find it threatening and they refuse to acknowledge that it does make them feel that way. I guess they'd rather call her dumb or not trustworthy than just admit a woman is funnier than they are...wtf is that?

My husband says that is not true. Having a sence of humor is a good thing. Being un trust worthy is a whole different side of the personality that has nothing to do with being funny.

The trait that I find the most attractive in a man is kindness. If a man is kind then he looks really good to me.

Well, I'm no man, but i think a man would find a humorous woman to be of lesser value to the man because men like making the woman laugh. If the woman is laughing at her own jokes then what is the man to do with his unused man-ness?

I think the guys who said that are less intelligent than most.
Maybe they're just afraid that if they're with a funny woman, she'll take away the spotlight from them.
I guess I'll just avoid these guys, since I'm trustworthy, honest, intelligent, AND funny.

People who try to be funny generally are not. If a woman is just naturally funny and not trying to force it, it can be more of a turn on..

I consider it a plus. That's why chicks who have over-inflated egos & bad atitudes always get cheated on.
