Like on a subject?
Just plug it into a search engine and read/print out the infiormation. Take out books on the subject. Learn about it.

Like to DO research?
Set up a test group, or whatever works for your topic, and work with them. Record results in detail.

First you need a subject to research. Then you develope a theory or hypothesis about that subject and look for information or design an experiment to test your theory.
