Like on a subject?
Just plug it into a search engine and read/print out the infiormation. Take out books on the subject. Learn about it.
Like to DO research?
Set up a test group, or whatever works for your topic, and work with them. Record results in detail.

First you need a subject to research. Then you develope a theory or hypothesis about that subject and look for information or design an experiment to test your theory.

Just look anything up on Google - it has all the answers you need on any subject. You'll be surprised. If no luck there, then just ask your question(s) on Yahoo Answers. And you will get all the answers you could possibly want to your heart's content.
