I know this is a stupid question, but when I am applying for a job, what do I put under name of employer for my work experience? My name or the person who had hired me?

Name of the company or the person you worked for.

Employer - Company / your boss
Employee - you

The name of the company you worked for. You would be considered the employee, they are the employer.

Then if they ask name of supervisor, Joe Jones, Accounting, Mgr.
