Generally people are evil. Whatever system you come up with , there will be people who will abuse the system and make it very ugly. In socialized medicine, we have patients abusing the system. In America, we have insurance companies abusing the system. In other parts of the world, we have doctors and hospitals abusing the system. So, lets put our brains together and find out what should be the best system?

There is no free lunch. Someone has to pay for it, if its not you, its the insurance company. If not its the government. In socialized medicine, you think that your healthcare is free, but in reality its not. Its paid through the extremely high taxes levied on the population. Do you feel that its right for a healthy person to mandatory pay for the treatment of an unhealthy person?

The American system is the best by far which is why people from other countries with socialized medicine come here in high quantities to get treatment. How many Americans travel abroad for treatment?

I think that socialized medicene would be the lesser of two evils. At least then, people could go into a hospital when they needed care!
