This is an allegorical story that is the exact same scientific story of the Neolithic Revolution. It tells of hunter-gatherers going from a nomadic people who hunted and gathered, which until then was "God's" way, to sedentary people who grew their own crops, a decidedly "new" way of doing things that changed the nature of humanity on earth. Humans went from nomads to settlers, building camps, then towns, then cities, followed by city states, all falling under the heading of civilization. Agriculture, followed closely by civilization, swept up the old way and replaced it almost entirely and this happened all over the earth.The agricultural revolution in the Neolithic Era is what scientists say is responsible for civilization. In the Bible, God cursed the ground Adam was to go and farm and cursed Adam saying that he would eat bread (a new food which emerged from this revolution) in the sweat of his face all the days of his life. The first murderer was a farmer. The cities that developed around the farms were centers of evil and were destroyed by God in some cases. God even sent a flood to get rid of what developed after Eve discovered she could grow her own food. I think Eve is the first recorded genius. Her genius certainly changed the nature of man.

I would ask them why they had to put clothes on just because of a snake and an apple. Maybe the snake and the apple represented something else.

I dont think I would have the right to complain, but I would simply ask each how they felt when they first saw each other, and what do they know to be of the most ultimate truth relating to their relationship and how can they help the world have better and long lasting relationships.

I would ask them... why did they hide when they realised they were naked. All the other animals are naked and you dont see them hiding.
