i do ballet, modern (lyrical) and also enjoy hip hop. whats a good DVD i could buy that would teach me @ home just while i'm not taking lessons? i really don't care what it's like as long as it's dance and not something queer. i'd actually REALLY like to get into hip hop more. sooo help??

Watch Dirty Dancing. The original. It's great, because sometimes Patrick Suaze talks Baby through the moves and it can really help you. And you can always rewind and watch their feet. Plus it's a great movie. :)
Or just put some music on and feel the beat, and just dance!

Do what I do and practice by mimicing some music video's or "Dancing With The Stars" or "So You Think You Can Dance?". Then you can make up ur own ruetine or something. Just be creative.

yes, just look on amazon, you will find some good dvd's there for good value.
you can search the web for free little clips on how to dance, but i think you are right, a dvd is probally the best option

just go on ebay or amazon and search dance vidoes and look at the reveiws

music videos are good, try some from the 80's music you will find the moves in those videos are easy to learn an the music is pretty cool to
