strong vibration when car is in reverse and you have foot a brake when foot is off brake it normal

I would start by looking at the motor mounts. Have somebody power brake it. (put it in drive hold brake and rev motor, then try in reverse) while you watch the motor to see if the motors moving excessivly if so you should be able to see where the mount is breaking.
If a rear wheel drive good possibility u joints are bad. If you have recently changed drive shaft it may be the wrong length

Depends what car etc. Take it to a garage as it might be a bearing or brake issue. Best to get it fixed before it get worse??
