I've know for a fact that until 2007 is over, the only way to stay in the castle is by winning a contest. Does anyone know how and when you could actually pay to stay there? I mean, they're not just going to stop using it because the contest is over right? I've heard different rumors like that it's only about $300 a night or something like that

Everything is still a rumor regarding the suite in the castle. Some people believe it will be able to be booked sometime next year, others think it may be used for special reasons, but at this point no one (outside of Disney) really knows. We should find out in the next several months.

As far as it only being $300 a night, I don't really see that happening. Most of the rooms at the deluxe resorts run much higher than that, so I highly doubt a room that would be so limited and incredibly popular would be that low. I would say $500 would be the absolute minimum and I would guess the room to cost at least $1000, and I would guess that it will be well over $1000.

If it ever does happen that you can stay in the castle without winning the prize, it would be almost impossible to get the room for a night. Everyone will want to stay in there, and for most price will not be an option. I don't really know how Disney would do it, but I would think they would come up with something to avoid all the craziness, i.e. the castle is part of a deluxe wedding package or something along those lines.

I really think that Disney will offer it in some way after the Year of a Million Dreams, but I have no clue how they will go about it. I don't think it will be real easy to get your hands on and I think it will come at a pretty high premium.

The suite will never bus used as a standard rental property. There are too many logistical factors involved to just let anybody rent the room. The suite will only be used for future prize giveaways (keep in mind, Disney has celebrations all the time, so the Year of a Million Dreams is just another in a continuing line). And also note that more than half the rooms at Disney cost $300+ per night.

300$ i think is way to cheap if you look at different resorts with those types of rooms there well over 800$ PLUS you have to factor in that you are in the Magic Kingdom would is so amazing i do believe a couple months after "The Year Of A Million Dreams" is over it will be open like a hotel the only thing is be ready to call because I'm sure it will book fast.

The only way to get in there is to be the lucky one chosen. As far as $300 a night, that would be cheaper than some of the deluxe resort rooms, so I think that is probably incorrect.

It's going to be somewhere around $2500 a night... but most of the time it will be used by executives who work for Disney's "sponsors".
