Our home was remodeled in the 70's and is now much larger than the original plat shows. How do we fix this info so that when its value is researched online, the correct configuration of the house shows up?

Depends on what website you are referring to. Most of the independent websites merely draw information from what is available in the county land office where the property is registered. If the information is coming from that source, you can correct it there.

If you're referring to a site such as zillow.com, don't get too excited. They are grossly inaccurate most of the time. My personal residence has an approximate market value of $325,000, and zillow shows it as $176,000. Doesn't bother me in the least.

Yes :) it looks beautiful but I would probably build another house on the property to rent to people as a vacation home or something like that :) gotta make sure I can keep the property forever :) Id absolutely love an island and Ireland is beautiful and im very much into traveling! Actually you know what id keep the big house get rid of the others and make a small castle inspired house and just make it a small awesome oasis :P

Be careful of what you are asking for. If you have done a lot of updating and adding square footage without permits and the assessors finds out, your assessment for taxes will go up and could cost you alot more because your taxes will go up.
