It really depends on the reason for them taking their own life.
I've been real close to committiing suicide and it takes alot for someone to actually go through with it. So it is a strength that makes it possible, but then it can also be the chicken **** way out too. because that is in my opinion the worst sin you can do. taking your life, is like slapping God in the face, and it is said thou shalt not kill. so when you kill yourself. you will be punished for that sin. ultimately. In the next life it will be worse then this one that you took the easy way out, Atleast you thought you did. oh boy! Karma is alive and well, and retribution is the law.

Neither, but extremely confused and mislead.
But the rational is that such an individual takes on a millitary mindset, and they think that they are fighting a war so that is how they justify what they do.
And those people are oppressed to begin with. They may have come from a villiage where they are the only survivor and they want one last act of retribution.
They are chosen because they exhibit bravery and also because they can be influenced easily; but cowards can be influenced easily. So ultimately they have an inner conflict, and that is why they are confused.

Coward, it takes more gumption to suffer the "...slings and arrows of outrageous fortune..." as Shakespeare put it. Suicide offers no real solution, is it better to exist than not to exist at all? How will you know in the end whether you are better off if you cease to exist. Every life has impact even when you don't realize the impact that your life has on others. There is sometimes a darkness that prevents viewing the reality of life and the rewards that can be achieved through life. We are hear to learn from our mistakes and grow into better beings, suicide is like dropping out when you are in the 2nd grade....

i think suicider is a coward. when our life gives 100 reasons to cry , we have to show that there are 1000 reasons to smile. NEVER GIVE UP IN LIFE. fight as much you can . you can definitely win your life, sure.a suicide can never end the issues , really it become the cause of a new issue . by doing it , the suicider is giving shock to the people who loves him. The suicider is ending not only his life but the life of those people who loved him. so they have to think good and should take a decision to live life confidently and happily . god will definitely help them.

I don't know if they are brave or a coward, but they are selfish because they leave people behind that feel a lot of guilt.

Our 20 year old son committed suicide...he wrote a 16 page will/suicide note. I have felt his suffering...if you want to check out his website that I made in his Honor, there is an excerpt from his will that explains why: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/taylerslife/
He was no coward...I always think THAT HE DID AN ACT OF
BRAVERY. People who commit suicide are too overwhelmed by their physical, emotional and/or mental pain and they see no end to it. You can also check out another site I made in Honor of him with my poetry that I wrote after he passed away: http://tayler-garbutt.memory-of.com/
P.S. IF JESUS CAN FORGIVE MURDERERS THAT KILLED HIM, THEN GOD ALMIGHTY CAN FORGIVE SUICIDE...

Neither. You need a functioning brain to be any of the above. Only zombies follow.
