My husband is emotionally & mentally abusive and has been for 20 years. He has put us into financial ruin. I can't take anymore. I want to leave but his health now is failing and I feel like a rotten person if I leave him, he needs me ? I am physically sick everyday and most of all I am tormented mentally , what should I do ?

There is no reason to be scared. If he has been mentally and emotionally abusive to you for that long then he is the one that has made you feel guilty if you leave.

His health is ailing now because of all the torment he put you through. Karma is biting him in the bum and he is getting his comeuppance. He doesn't deserve you and you should just look yourself up and down in the mirror and say "I am a good person and I can make it on my own!"

Pack your things and tell him that you need to get away from his abuse and leave. Don't look back. Make sure you have some money and a place to go first. It may not happen straight away. you may need some time to plan, but get a friend on side and tell them the plan. They can help you when the time comes.

Hope this helps and have a great day/night!!!
