my boyfriend has a small, hard lump in his groin area that hurts him. There was only one lump yesterday and now there is a second one right beside it. Does anyone have an idea of what this could be?

It in all probability an enlarged lymph node(s). They manufacture protection-that is why it is painful and why he has had a new one.develop

He probably has a spot which is inflammed over his lower tummy.or leg all the way down to his toes.
A spot any where over this area would cause an enlarged tender gland in his groin.

I am assuming that there is no chance of a STD

He really needs to see a doctor ASAP. His doctor is qualified, trained, and licensed to diagnose medical problems AFTER seeing the patient. The people on this site are nt!! Sounds not good to me.
