Religion relies on science in order to explain the dinosaurs but adds God's power into the mix. Religion cannot explain evolution or the dinosaurs because religion is a set of beliefs that explain the relationship between man and God and how to worship God through man. Its like saying that Christians would judge not yet ye be judged but judging the dinosaurs for being not human even though they cannot explain them and how they were created in a sense of the faith they worship from the relationship they have with God through their belief. So, God and science are separate because religion is worship and science is explaining a totality. God and science are one but it takes intellectual people who have faith to understand how the two work together in the context of nature and how God is one with nature.

The dinosaurs supposedly died out 65 million years ago, around the time period of the cretaceous-tertiary, right?
However shocked quartz and Iridium-an element only found in meteors- have a unusually high content in stratifications of the K-T time period. On the Yukatan Peninsula, a enormous crater was disccovered when a company was scouting the area to drill oil. Coincidence?
Many Christians and their sects have determined based off information in the Bible, God created the world ~16,000 years ago. Modern scientists believe that the world formed 4.54 billion years ago, and the universe, ~14 billion. This is a pretty big discrepancy.
One thing I thought of: God created the world in 6 days, and rested on the 7th, the Sabbath.
It is not until the THIRD day that god created "time."
GENISIS 1:27
14: And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years..."
16: God made two great lights-- the greater light to govern the day and the lesser to govern the night.
Who knows how many billions of years may have past during the first two days....something to think about?

They existed before the time of Noah. They had become extinct. There is no mention of incest in relation to Noah's ark, either, but sexual relations within his family would have happened in order to continue the human race. Noah would have copulated with his daughters; brothers would have copulated with sisters; sons would have copulated with their mother (Noah was an old man, after all). Sometimes it's easier not to go into detail. The Christian people in the past who would have had the Bible read to them, wouldn't have been at all educated. Details had to be simplified or left out altogether.

Some creationists point out that other animals are not mentioned either such as bats and three toed sloths, but they exist. Some say, despite evidence, Man and dinosaurs did exist at the same time.
I asked the same question of a very religious person one time. He said that dinosaur bones were put here by God to confuse human kind. Looking at the human race, we don't need divine help in this area.

Their existence wasn't known until a Young Mary Anning discovered the fully fossolised remains of an Icthyosaur in Lyme Regis in the early 19th century a long time after the Bible was written or put together.

Religions do not go into must detail about dinosaurs for a simple fact that The bibles purpose for the Faith and a relationship with God, but for general learning purposes.
Everything stated in the bible was given to prove help with faith, etc.
Dinosaur talk doesn't really do that.

Most religions accept dinosaurs were real, the evidence that they existed is irrefutable!..However certain people called Creationists, who are 'old testament literalists' believe that the universe is only about 6,000 years old!..Many of them think that dinosaurs never existed at all, or if they did, humans existed at the same time as dinosaurs!..Some will tell you of old legends being true, like St. George fighting dragons all over the place!..The dragons being, of course, dinosaurs!..Biblical monsters like Behemoth were really dinosaurs, and were around long after Noah floated off in his Arc!..How did he get them in the arc ???...And where are they today?..Did God save them in the arc, and slaughter them all later?..Or did Saint George and his knightly mates 'do 'em all in' with holy swords?..The people who want to believe all that stuff, are perfectly entitled to believe it!..But, ITS NOT SCIENCE!..And ITS NOT TRUE!..

Up until recently they didn't--they just claimed that dinosaurs never existed in the first place and that all those bones in museums are just hoaxes--now religion is backing down to reality! Check out a stupid attempt by christian creationists to explain them by visiting the "Creation Museum" online--just google the name "creation museum"--it's good for a laugh!

So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; Adam was in a deep sleep while god created a woman. We all know that was no over nite deal. Deep sleep, while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man. Dinosaurs lived and died during the deep sleep.
