If you want to "Fill" a col with these numbers.

In the first cell enter
12001
then, 12002
12003
Then highlight from the first cell at 12001, down the col until enough rows are highlighted, a few more is OK, to contain the number you desire. It will not fill beyond your desired number.

Click Edit
Fill
Series
Leave "Series" in rows
Leave "Type" at Linear
Leave "Step Value" at 1
Enter "Stop Value" at 13001

You can also fill across by columns. Follow the directions in "Fill" menu.
