Ask yourself; how many people do I really think are working for any law enforcement agency that does not have a past? As much as SOME would like us to believe, police officers do not fall out of the sky. And many of them have smoked weed.

If this is something you really want to do with your life, GO FOR IT!! It sure beats waking up one day and realizing you smoked your whole life away and have nothing to show for it. It can be very rewarding to help others while serving your community / country. And the sense of accomplishment at having built a career and having made something of yourself -- having made a name for yourself -- that's something you hold on to forever. It's something you can be proud of and your mother can brag about and your children can someday look up to you with respect and pride... or you can just light up another reefer and just dream about it.

Let us know how this turns out! I gotta good feeling about it!

Guy quits molesting Children, would he be allowed in Law Enforcement? Guy quits robbing Banks, would he be allowed in Law Enforcement? Guy quits killing his neighbors, would he be allowed in Law Enforcement? No, but he could have a bright career in Politics

All depends on what agency local, county, state, federal. Also the frequency of use and how many years or months. If you can show that you are forthcoming about you prior pothead days and pass the polygraph more power to you. If you try to fudge the numbers or tell white lies, they won't trust you enough to hire you.

Hmm, sounds like something you should call up your police department to find out: and no, they won't haul you in for drug use, you are asking a legitimate question.

If you have no record and pass a drug test and are of the proper age, yes.

Depends on more than that. How long did he use marijuana? What else does he have going for him? How young is he?
