If you are trying to get a daily pay per month of July, you would divide by 31.

If he worked for 15 days then divide it by 15 to get your answer. If you want a monthly rate then you would divide it by the number of days the person would have worked in that month.

Why would you do that? He worked for 15 days you divide by how much her earned for those 15 days. Otherwise by dividing my 30 or 31 it will appear he earned less than he did.

annual salary divided by 2080
will give you how much earned per hour...
times the number of hours worked in 15 days equals...
