I have interesting news for you folks. Some of those nasty questions (not all, we have nuts in all our countries) are being posted identically on several Yahoo! sites. They seem to be designed to foster anger and hate.
They fall short. Our friendship and respect for our allies (I'm a U.S. American) is deeper than that (though we can be really rude and thoughtless at times, being a young country).
I want you to know I'm spreading the word on the U.S. site when I see these people and checking the U.K. site to be sure I'm posting about these same hate spammers who seem to be posting on all sides the same nonsense.
I'd appreciate caution on your part, an avoidance of bigotry (treat them as an individual, however contemptible their behavior), and don't generalize it to Americans. It's been a pleasure to see the U.S. side get VERY aggressive with these people and recognize how little what they say represents our allies.
Oh, we disagree? But posts like from children? Tell others.

Whatever: You would prefer not to know? I shouldn't let people know that someone is imitating someone from the British people AND Australians AND U.S. and posting the same thing on all sides as if from the others?
Strange policy, but easily done. Just turn the page. I think if you read the other answers, you'll see others are interested. THAT'S what the internet is about, not being quiet because you or others aren't. I hope my British, Australian, and Irish friends don't lose the ability to speak up, disagree, and stand up to those who would pretend to represent them in a poor light.
I don't believe it when I see it, myself, and I've found the proof this small group (it might be one person) is doing their best to smear all of us.
No, I think I'll keep speaking up, thank you.

Wow! You guys are dealing with as many people off on their own issues as we are!
Just dropping a note about a faker, and what a response!
Thanks to all those who simply said, "Thanks, good to know/we'll check it out/haven't noticed/etc."
Keep it simple.
Did I ask for citizenship somewhere in my post?

Sorry about including Ireland. It is the Yahoo! Great Britain & Ireland post, so I meant that they are receiving the same questions, not that they have allied themselves with anyone.
'
To be truthful, I didn't know. I know now they have graciously allowed us to use their airports for missions, but forgot that things are still a bit tense between England/Ireland/Northern Ireland.
I have ancestry from every part of the Isles (British, Welsh, Irish, Scottish) as well as half the continents. I apologize if I offended any of the present citizens of my ancestor's homelands.

However, we do have some absolutely senseless name-calling, nasty, foolish posters who ARE Americans just as I'm sure you can give me a long list of the like here on your site native to England. I have to admit that Reverend Carlos is utterly lost in his description of me (he must have been attacked a lot, though he seems to have joined his "enemies" with gusto).
I don't tolerate such behavior in English posters in America, and hope you won't here when anyone does it.
I'm still a little surprised when someone like Rev. Carlos decides that because of my one post + disagreeing with such childish behavior as he tries so hard to make his trademark that I must not be an American (born and raised here, thank you), and must be a Marxist (NEVER, thank you!), or any of the other names or any of the other silly things he called me or insinuated.
Stunning what you have to deal with, both from your own and from ours, if Rev. Carlos and RAY N. are examples.
Good luck with them.

No one can know where anyone is from for certain, I try not to generalize. Sometimes I can point out (to myself) who *is not* from the US, England, Australia..etc... because of the poor grammar and spelling, there is a difference between the poor grammar of someone who in uneducated or trying to fake it, and someone who is used to a different language pattern.
I would wager that there really aren't as many haters on YA as it seems, but that it is a few people with many user names. It *is* only the internet... you can't take half these answers seriously, anyway.

Mckenzie, I doubt that you're really an American. If you are, I suppose you are either a die-hard Marxist or a victim of senility or both, as your "question" is sheer drivel. So just for the record (not for you) here are the facts: there is currently a cold war being waged on this site between Americans and Brits--particularly the English. Neither the Irish nor the Aussies are much involved in this war of words, though we could certainly use such manly allies.
This little conflict is the result of unprovoked English aggression--their continuous litany of insults spewed out at everything from our I.Q and appearance to our spelling (yes, our "friends" are that petty). Only recently have a few of us begun to retaliate against the obscene chavs.
As we've tolerated their invective for quite a while, your attempt to shift the blame to American "bigotry" really turns Truth on its head.
Now, mac, make a big effort and try to understand that this site isn't a British Crown Colony; now strain your wits a little more and realize that Americans aren't paid to be ingratiating diplomats here in cyberspace. Now one more big effort: grasp the fact that some Americans have a sense of honor (aka "honour') and therefore will not respond kindly to attacks from the abysmal idiots that you call "allies."
By the way, do you think your spineless imitation of a doormat impresses anyone anywhere?
P.S. Question time's running out, mckenzie. Thought up any final pearls of incoherence? Why not snivel another apology for Young & Thoughtless America? Make us laugh again.

Less is more Learn to appreciate the little everyday things.... "A life is a collection of moments in time" Your spiritual, and philosophical thinking doesn't have to be complicated "I am wise because I know nothing" "Consider the Lilly's" "Truth is point of view" "No matter where you go ...there you are" "You can't always get what you want....but if you try sometime, you just might find you get what you need." Look at yourself first...and see how you fit in the world and it's people Starting with the most simple and basic relationships close to you...people , and the rest of nature You may only have this moment left....you will never know Inside we are all the same...we want what we need Some are selfish/greedy they always need more BUT....The selfish have survived MORE?.........More understanding ......which requires a complete lack of selfishness

As an Australian I think we get more British idiots going around asking if they can get freebies off Australia just because they colonised it.
The answer is NO!
You don't qualify for easy citizenship just because your British.
We don't allow anchor babies (just like the Brits) and we don't appreciate idiots asking if they have go and have an anchor kid here can that kid petition for mom, dad and their half-brother to get citizenship.
You cannot move as easily to Australia as you do to London.
We only voted not to become a Republic because we would have losted a public holiday if we had. And yes we get an extra day off to celebrate the Queen's Birthday (yes we know you don't get one).
As a Brit there seems to be more time spent arguing the illegals and pro-amnesty lot looking for freebies.

I like to think I I do not prejudge anyone and take all comers on their own merit be they British, American, Italian or even...(god forbid) the French.....lol!
Some Americans are stupid but they vie for first place with some of our British idiots. Both can be perfect members of the community or thugs of the lowest order.

Hmm, do we not have enough to defend against already?
I'm going to give our international friends the benefit of the doubt and guess that they wouldn't hold a few idiots words against the whole nation . . .
I have after all not condemned any of their nations for a few mongrels I've seen.

what Irish allies? we are a neutral nation our government only lets your troops use our airports because your big companies may leave if we didn't let them. That is more like letting a tyrant use you to pursue something you do not agree with rather than stand up and be counted. so really the Irish government are a bunch of cowards. traitors to the notion of neutrality and should be dis-pissed by all who believe in the notion of neutral.
