Because the B52 was not designed or built yet until much later on.
We had B17s B29s as regular bombers then. The 52 was built much later on.in 1955 a whole ten years after the war ended and they are still in use today as long range bombers.
They simply were not designed yet.

B52 didn't exist at that moment. But I think you are confusing with the B29. They needed the B29 for the very long distances at the pacific ocean while the older B17 could at that moment easily reach every place in Germany. No need to send the best bomber to Europe when the older could do the job. Its the same with the tanks, the older Grants could do the job against the Japanees while this tank was already longtimes out of the combat zone in Europe.

It did not start flying until 1955. It has been in service ever since that time. The U.S. did not even have an operational jet plane until almost the end of the war. Only the Germans had an operational jet during the war, the ME 262.

The REAL reason is that the Allies' time machine was too small, and they could only transport the atom bomb, but not the bomber they wanted. I think it has something to do with the Illuminati, the Rosicrucians, the Rotary Club or Liberace. Or all of the above.

I'm sorry, but you can't use a bomber which hasn't been invented, much less built, yet.
As it was, our bombers, and the British Lancaster, were superior to anything the Germans could put up - although they were pretty good with their fighters and developed the jets first. That's why we grabbed, de-Nazified and brought Herr Doktor von Braun over here before the Russians could get to him. von Braun was an ardent Nazi - but we ignored that in favor of his scientific prowess. Better for us to have him than the Russians.

It is hard to fly a plane 10 years before it is invented.
I'm sure they would have liked to have had it in their arsnel at the time, but the poor saps had to make due with what they had.
g-day!
